COA and Sprinturf Announce Partnership

SACRAMENTO, CA . . . The California Community College Commission on Athletics (COA) today announced the selection of Sprinturf as the "Official Synthetic Surface of the COA".

"We chose Sprinturf due to their products' superior characteristics as well as the company's quality workmanship and reputation. We were also extremely excited about their SandFree™ systems that completely eliminate sand from the turf's infill, removing significant risk of field contamination", said COA Executive Director Carlyle Carter.

Sprinturf manufactures, sells, installs, and services a variety of artificial turf systems that look, feel and play like natural grass - but are safer and far more durable. From the Ultrablade™ synthetic turf fibers and 100% clean all-rubber infill, to the drainage system that keeps the field dry even in torrential rains, Sprinturf uses the highest quality components, which results in its fields consistently simulating natural turf in pristine condition.

"Sprinturf is committed to servicing our colleges, understands the complexities of doing business with higher education, and is offering a terrific product that speaks for itself", Carter added.

The agreement features many benefits to California community colleges. COA member schools will receive discounts on surface prices and field logos and will enjoy priority installation scheduling. Sprinturf will be featured at COA championship events by way of signage rights, public address announcements and print advertising, as well as a wide array of other cause-related marketing benefits.

"We are delighted to partner with COA to help bring safe synthetic surfaces to community colleges in California. COA joins a growing list of organizations such as US Lacrosse and the United Soccer Leagues that have selected Sprinturf as their official turf provider, said Hank Julicher, CEO of Sprinturf.

Sprinturf, based outside Philadelphia, PA with regional offices worldwide, is the leader in all-rubber infill systems. Visit Sprinturf at www.sprinturf.com, or call 1-877-686-TURF.
