COA and Rawlings Renew Baseball Partnership

SACRAMENTO, CA . . . The California Community College Commission on Athletics (COA) today announced a partnership renewal with Rawlings. The terms of the agreement extend Rawlings’ designation as "Official Baseball of the COA California community colleges baseball championship" through June 2010.

Rawlings has been the official ball supplier for the COA baseball championship since 1996, and will provide the R100CCC as the official COA baseball for the next five seasons.

“Rawlings continues to be a true friend of California community college athletics,” said COA Associate Commissioner Stu Van Horn. “This extension represents evidence of a solid partnership, and the COA looks forward to continuing the statewide relationship.”

Rawlings will be featured at COA regional and championship events, by way of signage rights, public address announcements, and broadcast and print advertising. In addition, Rawlings will serve as a sponsor of the COA Annual Convention, an event that includes the COA Hall of Fame Induction Banquet and the Pepsi Celebration of Student Athletes Luncheon.

"Rawlings is very excited and pleased to extend our relationship with both the COA and the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association,” said Dave Bracci, Rawlings’ Western Region Sales Manager. “We look forward to another five years of lending our support to the COA, coaches and athletes."
