COA and Ringor Renew Softball Partnership

SACRAMENTO, CA. . . The California Community College Commission on Athletics (COA) today announced that it has renewed its existing softball partnership with Ringor through the year 2005. Ringor will continue to serve as the official softball footwear of the California Community College Softball Regional and State Championships.

"We are pleased to continue our partnership with Ringor and truly value the support of the company," said COA associate commissioner Stuart Van Horn. "Ringor offers a great line of quality products and the company’s commitment to the California Community College Softball Championship is genuinely appreciated.”

The terms of the contract entitles the 20 year-old Oregon-based manufacturer with direct access to COA softball coaches, and allows Ringor to market a variety of footwear packages to COA member colleges.

Ringor will be featured at the California Community College Softball Regional and Championship events by way of signage rights, public address announcements and print advertising. The 2003 championship will be held at Riverside Community College, May 9-11.

“It is an honor to continue out partnership with the COA,” said Ringor president Carol Ihlenburg. “As a manufacturer of specialized softball footwear, we look for organizations that are committed to the growth of the sport and the individuals who play the game.”
