2005 COA Fall Championships Festival Sporting Geography® is a lesson plan based activity kit, developed for hands-on use in the classroom. Students find the program motivating and learn a great deal about their home team, its opponents, and the geography in-between.

As a participating teacher, you will receive a free packet of reproducible materials covering 11 weeks beginning in November 2005. Kit materials include lesson plans, desk maps, a teacher's guide, an answer key, reference pages, and extra credit activities – all designed to follow the California Community Colleges State Championships in golf, cross country, water polo, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, football, and basketball. This program is ideal for grades 3 through 8. Materials address California Content Standards for History-Social Science. Kit materials are free to teachers thanks to sponsorship from California Community Colleges.
