Sharon Yox
Sharon Yox is a "coaching legend" from Shasta College, in Redding, California. With a coaching career that spans twenty years, Yox has made quite the impression upon Shasta College and volleyball.

Before coaching herself, Yox attended and played volleyball at Long Beach State University. While playing at Long Beach, Yox led her team to a National Championship, two second place finishes and a third place finish. Yox played in the first National Championship Tournament to be held at Long Beach State in 1969.

Her coaching career began in 1976. During her twenty years as head coach, Yox won 17 Golden Valley Championships. She had no conference losses and was undefeated for the five year span between 1982 and 1986. Her team participated in Regional Play every year she coached, and Yox finished her career with an overall Golden Valley Conference Record of 218-18. She was inducted into the Shasta County Hall of Fame and the Shasta College Hall of Fame. Yox currently teaches golf and aquatics.

Jo Ingraham
In over 30 years, Jo Ingraham has filled the shoes of teacher, coach, administrator, and friend in California. Although Ingraham has "retired" to a mountain retreat, she has been very involved in the education and coaching of many people.

Following her graduation from San Jose State University in 1950, Ingraham taught high school for three years. She spent the next 9 years as a health instructor for the YWCA in San Francisco. She spent 24 years as a full-time Physical Education instructor, and coached volleyball for 14 years.

Ingraham has always been involved in teaching and coaching health and athletics. Not only has she been instrumental in educating kids, she is involved in advising and training Senior Citizens.

Ingraham was a national USVBA official, a National DGWS official, editor of the Volleyball guide for DGWS and the 1980 President of the CCCWVCA.
