2001 Northern California Community College Women’s Golf Championships

@ Fig Garden Golf Course, Fresno, Calif. Nov. 12-13, 2001

Due to rain delay on Mon. 11/12, only 27 holes were played instead of the usual 36. Nine were played on 11/12, 18 on 11/13. The top four scorers add up to the team total. The top 2 teams in Northern and Southern California qualify for the state championships. In addition, the top six individuals not on qualifying teams, will also play in the state championships.

The 7th California Community College Women’s Golf Championships will be played Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 19-20 at the Del Rio Country Club in Modesto, Calif.

*FCC’s Ann Olson, The NorCal medalist, was the Bay Valley Conference South Division’s Most Valuable Player. The 5-5 Olson, a 41-year-old architect, has been playing golf just over three years and in 1979, was an All-NorCal cross country runner at FCC.
