Women's Golf Championship

Mt. San Antonio College, led by an amazing team effort from Yumi Chung (167), Erin Kato (168), Debra Yim (168) and Moah Chang (168) captured the 2002 California Community Colleges Commission on Athletics Women's Golf Championship with a team score of 666 over the course of the two-day, 36-hole tournament.

College of the Canyons finished in second place with a team score of 700, followed by Foothill College (767) and Napa Valley College (776).

Moorpark College's Nikki Imaromna won the individual state trophy with a two-day total of 165. She was followed by Mt. San Antonio's Chung, Kato, Yim, Chang and Adrianna Chico (171). A sudden death playoff determined third, fourth and fifth place.

Participants played 18 holes on November 17 and 18 holes on November 19.

The top four scores comprise a team score.
