2002 California Community Colleges
Women's Golf Championship

November 17 & 18, 2002
(Sunday & Monday)

La Purisima Golf Course
3455 State Hwy 246
Lompoc, CA 93436
(805) 735-8395

Developed by Kenneth Hunter, Jr. in 1986, this championship golf course is steadily gaining national prominence. It is recognized by both "Golf Digest" and "Golf Magazine" as one of the top public courses in the USA. For the past few years, La Purisima has played host to the PGA Tour Qualifying School and the U.S. Open Qualifiers. This scenic golf course meanders over 300 acres of gently rolling oak tree woodlands and features stunning panoramas of the surrounding Lompoc Valley. While challenging for expert players, novice players will find it an enjoyable experience from the front tees. Accommodations are readily available in nearby Lompoc, Buelton, and Solvang. You will even find Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo an easy commute to La Purisima.
