Letter from SCOPE President Diane Henry:
Dear SCOPE Members,
I am very concerned
over the news about the number of Kinesiology departments which have folded
both at the UC's and CSU's. Although there are numerous reasons why Kinesiology
departments are declining, one contributing factor in all cases seems
to be the lack of unity within departments, and within the field as a
whole, along with a lack of understanding about who we are and what we
do.
