2002 All-Orange Empire Conference Men's Soccer Selections

Nazario Miramontes of Santa Ana was named Most Valuable Player as the Orange Empire Conference men's soccer coaches made their All-Conference selections November 13, posting staggering offensive numbers as he led the Dons to a 12-1-1 record in conference (note: the one loss was an administrative forfeit).

Miramontes, a sophomore from Sonora High, scored 24 goals in conference play, 10 more than runner-up Chris Gould of Irvine Valley, and his 61 points in conference play put him 27 points ahead of teammate Victor Liborio in the conference scoring race.

Overall, Miramontes finished the regular season with 31 goals and 13 assists. For perspective, Christian Rus of Fullerton was second in the state in overall scoring with 45 points, 30 points behind Miramontes.
