WRESTLING ONE NAMED OFFICIAL PRESENTING SPONSOR FOR HYUNDAI-CALIFORNIA WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP

Sacramento, CA--Wrestling One Sales Company and the COA have agreed to a three-year contract making Wrestling One the official presenting sponsor of the Hyundai-California Community College State Wrestling Championship which began with the 2000 championship in Huntington Beach on December 1-2.

The agreement with Wrestling One will last through January 30, 2003.

"Wrestling One is a perfect fit for the sport of wrestling and we look forward to servicing this new partner and expanding its involvement with community college wrestling and other COA sanctioned sports," said Associate Commissioner Stu Van Horn. "We are pleased to add Wrestling One to our expanding family of corporate partners and look forward to a rewarding relationship for many years to come."

Wrestling One is the largest distributor of wrestling products in the world. They feature items such as wrestling shoes, singlets, earguards, kneepads, home mats, school mats, mat tape, Kenshield, nutritional supplements, warm-ups, training aids, USA wrestling gear, T-shirts, practice wear & gear, wrestling novelties, training shoes, wrestling scales, books and videos.

Wrestling One will receive a number of other benefits as a result of their sponsorship, including banners at the state championship site, full page ads in championship programs, a banner on the COA web site, including a link to its company site, public service announcements at each game of the championship and mentions, including commercial time, during the television broadcasts of the state championship games. Wrestling One is expected to maintain a major exhibit at the state championship site for the next three years as well, giving it the opportunity to display its large range of products and services.
