COA and JCFootball.com Announce Partnership

Sacramento, CA . . . The California Community College Commission on Athletics (COA) today announced a new partnership with JCFootball.com. The agreement designates JCFootball.com as an official game sponsor of the Hyundai California Community College Football Championship through the 2003 season.

The partnership provides JCFootball.com with signage rights, public address announcements and print advertising recognizing the online news magazine as the official external news source for the state championship contest.

"This is a wonderful partnership because JCFootball.com and the COA both want to increase the public's exposure to community college athletics," said JCFootball.com President Kevin Lustgarten. "We believe in the mission of the COA and have been anxious for quite some time to enter into a partnership with the organization."

JCFootball.com offers comprehensive community college football news and information for fans, coaches, and athletes worldwide. The site includes national recruiting updates, game summaries, athlete profiles, polls and rankings, statistics, alumni tracking and much more. The site is also the official provider of community college football recruiting information for the TheInsiders.com network, a network of more than 100 college and professional team website affiliates.

"We are huge supporters of California Community College football and we are excited about partnering with the COA in order to make the state championship game an outstanding event for the players, coaches, and fans of California community college football," said Damon Dukakis, California Director and Vice President of JCFootball.com.

The 2001 Hyundai California Community College Football Championship, featuring the state's top ranked teams, will be held December 8 at the Mineral King Bowl Stadium in Visalia, California. The 2000 championship game welcomed 6,250 football fans who witnessed San Francisco City College defeat Bakersfield College for the California crown.
