COA to Sponsor Awards Again in 2000-01
The corporate development division of the COA will again sponsor the state championship awards in 2000-2001.
The entire cost of state championship awards — estimated at nearly $18,000 annually — are paid for by COA corporate partners through the COA’s revenue sharing program.
The cost of the awards represents a portion of the funds invested by outside sponsors. Nearly 50% of all funds raised by corporate development efforts go directly to support COA championships and member COA colleges.
The COA transfers the funds directly into each respective sport’s auxiliary account. Event managers do not receive an awards check and should include the appropriate awards sponsorship amount in preliminary budgets. For further information, contact the COA office at 916.444.1600.
