All-Mission Football Conference postseason award winners announced

Long Beach City College quarterback Alex
Aispuro, Fullerton College running back Joe Chatman, and El Camino College
running back Brian Flowers were named 2005 Mission Football Conference Offensive
Players of the Year for their respective divisions this afternoon at the postseason
coaches meeting.

California Community College football fans
can now visit www.missionfootballconference.com, the new online home of the
Mission Football Conference. The Mission Conference is widely regarded as the
strongest and most competitive community college football conference in the
nation. On the site, you find everything you need to know about the conference,
including news, rosters, schedules, statistics, contacts, as well as historical
information. Conference statistical reports will be posted as soon as available
either Sunday evening or Monday morning. The website was developed by Mission
Conference statistician Chris Ruiz. Be on the lookout for updates all season
long. El Camino College kicks off the 2005 schedule on Friday (Sep. 2) with
a 7 pm non-conference game at Citrus College. The rest of the conference gets
underway on Saturday.

to Visalia in 2004

The California Community College Commission
on Athletics (COA) today announced that the Citi California Community Colleges
Commission on Athletics Football Championship presented by Blue Diamond will be
held at the Centex Homes Mineral King Bowl in Visalia, California on December
11, 2004 and be hosted by College of the Sequoias (COS), the City of Visalia,
and the Giant Athletic Foundation.
