of the Desert Takes '04 Team Title; Sequoias' Cody Slover Wins Individual Championship

College of the Desert (Palm Desert) and Cody
Slover of College of the Sequoias won nail-biters to capture the team and individual
championships in the 55th Citi California Community Colleges Commission on Athletics
Men's Golf Championship at The SCGA Golf Course. With the best five of six individual
scores each round counting for the team score, COD totaled 747 for the two rounds,
two shots in front of College of the Canyons (Valencia) and another shot in front
of Saddleback College (Mission Viejo).
