El Camino College of Torrance won its first California Community Colleges Commission on Athletics football championship since 1971, defeating four-time titlist City College of San Francisco, 49-35 on two fourth-quarter touchdowns by Jamicah Bass Saturday afternoon at Chukchansi Park.

The California Community Colleges Commission on Athletics (COA) will announce the 2006 California Community College football bowl game participants, as selected by the COA Football Bowl Game Selection Committee, on the COA Web site, www.coasports.org, no later than 2:00 p.m. PT on Sunday, November 12. The announcement will also be distributed to California media outlets.

COA and Wilson Renew Football Sponsorship

The Community College Leaugue of California Commission on Athletics (COA) today announced a partnership renewal with Wilson Sporting Goods through the year 2008. The terms of the agreement state that Wilson will be designated as the "Official Ball" of the California Community Colleges Commission on Athletics Football Championship.
