HENRY "HANK" ALLISON,
COLLEGE OF THE SEQUOIAS - PLAYER
Inducted: 2003

Hank came to College of Sequoias, in 1967 from South High School in Akron, Ohio. He played 2 years of football for Al Baldock and while at Sequoias he was a three sport star in football, wrestling, and track. Hank was elected team captain of the football team, and was All Conference as a tight end and tackle. He again wrestled and set the college discus record in his last season at Sequoias.

He was selected as “The Athlete of the Year” his sophomore year. In 1969 he Transferred to San Diego State University and played for Don Coryel for 2 years. Hank had two stellar years of football and earned All American honors at guard in 1970 his senior year. In addition to his honors as an All American he was selected to play in the annual College All Star game against John Unitas and the World Champion Baltimore Colts.

Henry was a second round draft choice of the Philadelphia Eagles and played for them in 1971 and 1972. He was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in 1974 and was with them until 1977, and then completed his career with the Denver Broncos.

Henry retired from professional football in 1977. He has been married to his wife Donna for 16 years, and they live and work in Inglewood, California.
