"Players of the Week"
WOMEN: Reedley College, BAILEY AMUNDSEN (Freshman Guard, 6-0, Hoover High School)
helped lead the Tigers to a pair of conference wins by recording consecutive
double-doubles in points and rebounds. Amundsen scored a team-high 18 points
(7-11 FG, 3-5 in 3FG) to go along with 11 rebounds and 3 assists in Reedleys
90-66 win over Porterville on Wednesday. She then posted 15 points (6-13 FG,
3-6 in 3FG), 15 rebounds and 3 assists during Saturdays 58-45 victory
against Taft.
MEN (Co-Player of the Week):
Merced College, LESLIE MALONE (Freshman Forward, 6-7, 190, Stone Mountain, GA)
helped the Blue Devils win their first CVC game in nearly two seasons by registering
a double-double in Wednesdays 73-70 win over Reedley. Malone had 22 points
(9-15 FG), 12 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 steals against the Tigers, before missing
most of Saturdays game with an injury against Modesto.
MEN (Co-Player of the Week):
Modesto Junior College: GUY TEN-FINGERS (Sophomore Guard, 5-11, 155, Downey
High School) sank five 3-pointers in the second half to lead the Pirates to
an 85-78 win over Merced on Saturday. Ten-Fingers finished with 21 points (5-of-7
from behind the arc).

of state Top-10 teams as first-place Reedley College (6-1, 21-8) plays host
