Women’s Basketball “Player of the Week”
REEDLEY COLLEGE guard BAILEY AMUNDSEN (6-0, So, Hoover HS) scored a total of
47 points in a pair of Tiger victories last week. Amundsen led Reedley with 23 points (3-6, 3FG), to go with nine rebounds and three steals in a 96-66 over Sequoias (Jan. 10). She followed with a game-high 24 points (4-7, 3FG) in a 66-
57 win against Merced (Jan. 13). Amundsen, who leads all California players with 67 three-pointers, has made 14-of-23 (60%) behind the arc in conference play. The Tigers are ranked No. 5 in Northern California and No. 9 in the state.

Men’s Basketball “Player of the Week”
WEST HILLS COLLEGE guard BRANDON BROWN (6-1, So, Hope Charter, Philadelphia,
PA) led the Falcons with 20 points, six assists, and four rebounds in a 69-61 comeback-win against Modesto (Jan. 10). He then recorded 18 points (8-12 FG), three rebounds, two assists, and two steals as West Hills beat Reedley, 86-64 (Jan. 13). Brown ranks second in overall scoring (19 ppg) among CVC players, and has scored in double-figures in 20 of 22 games. The Falcons are ranked No.
6 in the North and No. 12 in the state.

CVC “Game of the Week” Broadcast
Women’s Basketball: Modesto at Fresno

This Saturday’s Central Valley Conference Women’s Basketball "Game of the Week" internet broadcast features the Fresno City College Rams hosting the Modesto Junior College Pirates.

The broadcast will start at 4:50 p.m., and will be aired on three websites:
coasports.org, jctalk.com, and stretchinternet.com.

Fresno (ranked No. 8 in the North, and No. 15 in the State) enters the week 3- 0 in the CVC, and 15-7 overall. Modesto is 2-1 and 12-9.
